Church Alley Nutrition Believes

Church Alley’s Nutrition was made to help. If you are already on a wellness journey and need some extra support, I got you! I have the knowledge and experience to help you create healthy meals and meaningful good habits on your wellness path.

A little background: A difficult health journey led me to create the right solutions for myself. Then, I got a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, became a certified Menopause Health Coach, and pursued a Master's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Staying on a healthy path deserves empathy, gentleness, patience, and real solutions that actually work. I help people with autoimmune issues navigate their healthcare nutrition plan, experiment with foods to find what works, and create healthy habits so they don’t have to live in fear of symptoms disrupting their lives.

My beliefs steer my business, including:

  • I believe you deserve to feel GOOD in your body, not just kind of terrible most of the time. We may not get to decide how healthy we are or the circumstances about our health but we do get to decide how we feel about ourselves and what we are willing to do to support the body we have.

  • I believe all food is good food. There is no time for shaming important cultural foods or the little treats we love. There is space in our day to day for the foods we love.

  • I believe making evidence-based decisions is key. There is a lot of misinformation out there. I use science-based, evidence-based information for all recommendations. We are too important to swing from trend to gimmick to trend to another gimmick. One size does not fit all. Let’s find out what works for you, your body, and your health status.

  • I believe curiosity is an underrated mindset when it comes to better nutrition. The more we can make space for curiosity over ego and judgment, the likelier we will find new ways to improve our nutrition and health over time. None of us get it right all the time. Learning anything, including about ourselves and our health, takes time and is filled with ups and downs. But if we hold on to curiosity, we will keep moving toward the life we want.

Church Alley Nutrition is here to support your healthcare goals and plans. We know you don’t need to be fixed, you just need support.
